Each year on the anniversary of the battle (July 1,2,3), there are numerous special programs at Gettysburg. Not to mention the re-enactments, which fortunately take place off the battlefields. We chose a walking tour of three farms which were in the center of the battle. It was a bit hot for a long walk, but there's some shade.
