We drove to Luray Caverns via Skyline Drive on a very threateny day. (The original plan was to return via Skyline and do some hiking in the afternoon, but we knew it was going to rain in the afternoon. And it was too cold for hiking, so we returned just in time for rush hour on the beltway. But that's another sad, slow tale.) Lisa had her camera, but the weather was too dreary and the trees too bare for much of a view.
